Long time no see! 😉
So you may have noticed I’ve been MIA for the past two weeks (I won’t be offended if you haven’t noticed, haha). In that time I moved to Kent and started my job, at first I was also living in a hotel and the wifi wasn’t great, hence why there haven’t been any posts. But anyway I’m back, I won’t be posting twice a week like I did before, just once a week and I’ll try to upload the same day every week. Honestly, I didn’t realise how much time a 9-5 takes up and how tired you feel at the end of the day. Most days I get home, eat, slob about a bit and then watch Love Island, I’m probably asleep by 10.30 each night, haha.
Anyway on with the show!
Now I’m a spotty little oik, always have been (well since about 10/11 years old) and I’ve always had oily skin (thanks dad) so this face mask is right up my street. I’ve genuinely been meaning to try it for years but I always forgot about it when I went into Lush.
So the face mask itself is super minty! I’m pretty sure mint is associated with being anti-bacterial and it can be quite drying, which is all good news for a pizza-face (always hated that phrase because quite frankly pizza is delicious and I would not take a bite out of my face because it sometimes looks pretty gross and well because I’m not a cannibal) like myself. You don’t have to store this face mask in the fridge like you do with other Lush face masks as it is self-preserving which is good as I personally always end up forgetting about it if it’s in the fridge.
Oh also the mint makes it quite tingly, so if you’re walking around with the mask on and you catch a breeze, you might get a bit of a shock! But yeah all in all, it’s a pretty decent face mask, my skin felt soft after and slightly less red. I’m not sure it reduced the number of spots but overall my skin did look a little better.
Well if you’ve made it this far, gold star for you!
